Acceptance of shipments
By handing a shipment to UNX you confirm that the contents are accurately described, lawful, correctly packed and permitted at both origin and destination.
Prohibited and restricted items
Hazardous materials, illegal goods, currency, and certain batteries, liquids and perishables may be restricted or prohibited depending on the lane. Restricted items may be returned, held or disposed of in line with applicable regulations.
Delivery estimates
Transit times and quoted prices are estimates based on the information provided. Actual timing and charges depend on final weight, dimensions, customs clearance, surcharges and events beyond our reasonable control.
Charges
Shipments may be reweighed and remeasured. Where actual details differ from those declared, charges are adjusted accordingly. Duties and taxes are payable by the party designated at booking.
Liability
Liability for loss or damage is limited in accordance with the applicable international conventions and our published service terms. Additional protection can be arranged at the time of booking.
Claims
Claims must be submitted within the notification periods set out in the applicable service terms, with supporting documentation.
